A great opening has arisen for a Accounts Payable Assistant with a very professional local organisation, the role would suit a committed individual who prides themselves on doing a great job, is that you?
Some of your duties will include:
Dealing with UK based suppliers and processing a high volume of purchase invoices on a weekly basis
Matching purchase invoice with delivery notes and purchase orders and inputting onto computer system
Forwarding invoices to relevant line Manager to obtain payment approval and allocating nominal codes
Reconciling supplier statements and processing weekly cheque and BACs payments
Contacting suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies and resolving any payment queries that occur
Checking, processing and paying employee expense claims on a monthly basis and posting onto ledger system
