Working Pattern – Monday to Friday, Full Time – 37 hours per week

Pertemps are looking for a skilled People Analyst. Working for a nationwide, well known and highly reputable business. Supporting millions of people and homes, this is a key role to support the function of the business and their customers.
Due to the varied nature of the role the successful candidate will need to show flexibility, motivation and a can-do attitude whilst maintaining focus and discipline to ensure an organised and methodical approach to each task.
The team provides data-based evidence and insight across the business, regarding long-term future workforce trends, medium and short-term workforce plans and the experience and dynamics of our workforce today. These outputs ensure our people plans, policies and processes are data driven and evidence based, employing horizon scanning, expert forecasting, workforce planning, and people analytics using qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
  • Initial point of contact for all data and reporting queries across the group escalating queries as required
  • Produce and provide high quality reports and data analysis to support global operational delivery
  • Support the production and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and metrics pertaining to key People Data as requested by key stakeholders
  • Support and maintain data integrity/quality by holding the wider HR team accountable for accuracy
  • Support quarterly/bi-annual Performance Ratings/Bonus process by collating and distributing data
  • Assist delivery of the company wide headcount report on a weekly basis by collating key stats on headcount, new starters, leavers and attrition
  • Support production of the quarterly People Dashboard, by collating and analysing key People Data
  • Advising managers with developing hypothesis, building data models using advanced analytical techniques
  • Develop MI Tools, Products and Techniques that further mature the analytics capability
  • Apply data science techniques to provide insights in People Data
  • Conduct statistical analysis on bespoke questions to provide deeper understanding from experiences across the employee lifecycle
  • Manipulate and analyse large volumes of information using appropriate tools and methods to verify data quality and use robust problem-solving abilities
  • Complete Quantitative and Qualitative analysis
  • Work in partnership with the wider business to deliver products based on user needs, carry out adhoc deep dive requests and complete returns to external partners
  • Work in partnership with Finance colleagues and wider HR team to provide comprehensive workforce analysis that triangulates workforce information, finance and resourcing activity data to inform recruitment and retention activity
  • Support the Workforce Planning and People Analytics Lead by identifying insights and recommendations in a manner that is easily understood and aids data driven decision-making
  • Support the Workforce Planning and People Analytics Lead with the delivery of the People Data pack and insight for Executive, Board and Senior Leadership Team

  • Developed tools and models that support insight and can explain complex and conflicting data
  • Ability to visualise information in a clean and concise manner
  • Experience of building analytics products and explaining them to non-technical audiences
  • Good communication skills
  • Good team working skills, with an ability to work autonomously, with pace and with attention to detail
