We at Orion Group are currently recruiting a Distribution Operative on behalf of one of our Multinational Pharmaceutical Clients to work on a 6-month contract.
To have knowledge of all Environmental, Health and Safety rules contributing to a safe environment. EHS procedures and policies are to be adhered to at all times and the correct precautions undertaken.
Quality standards in line with GDP are maintained at all times contributing to good customer service.
To ensure the continuous work flow for all aspects of the operation making sure that any potential situation that may impact on service level agreements (SLA's) are reported to the appropriate Team Leader / Manager.
To achieve excellent results in all aspects of stock handling within the warehouse from receipt to dispatch.
To take a positive approach to all training requests to enable flexibility within the operation by providing cover to all aspects as business needs require.
On completion of all training you will be required to use this skill, update and maintain which then forms part of your current job description.
To maintain a high level of communication at all times.
Ensuring that attendance is punctual at all times and that correct sickness reporting procedures are followed as per the sickness and absence policy.
Previous Warehouse environment
Ability to work in a fast moving goods warehouse
No specific life science experience
No need for Fork lift license
Manual handing assessment needs to be carried out by supplier.
