In our expanding Urban Adaptations team, a range of opportunities exist for talented individuals of all grades to develop, design and deliver a range of transport schemes including walking and cycling, road safety, highway, traffic signal, ITS and parking ranging from scheme development to design and implementation. 

We need individuals of varying degrees of experience in highway, transport, project management, traffic signal, traffic management, traffic regulation orders, cycling and sign design to fulfil our expanding portfolio of work from public and private sector organisations.

A typical week would include:

  • Involvement in current projects around the south coast , although a range of project opportunities exist for both work in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
  • Working on both public and private sector organisations.
  • Project Management
  • Traffic Management
  • Traffic Signal
  • Traffic Regulation orders
  • Cycling and sign design.
  • We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A suitable project management qualification e.g. APM/Prince 2; and
  • IEng or CEng accreditation and active member of a professional body.
  • Be able to carry out engineering projects from initiation through to completion without continual direction;
  • Have an excellent level of technical expertise;
  • Have experience of contract documentation preparation;
  • Have a strong knowledge of highway and/or traffic signal design standards;
  • Are keen to train/mentor junior technicians and engineers as required; and
  • Have a strong commercial awareness.
