My client, a nationally recognised food manufacturer, is searching for an engineering / maintenance planner/scheduler to join their successful and progressive engineering function on site. The company manufactures products which will be found in every household. The role will offer great levels of job security, skills baked development and a friendly working environment.
The successful candidate will be a diligent and computer savvy candidate with previous experience ideally working within an engineering department, with some form of administration experience. Ideally, you will have previous experience working as a maintenance planner or administrator within a production manufacturing environment, though this is not essential. All candidates that can demonstrate a working knowledge of engineering systems, coupled with an eagerness to learn will be considered.
Your day to day responsibilities will include; creating and monitoring the departments KPI's to ensure best performance, planning and prioritising jobs for engineers- this will include, PPM's, Break downs and other engineering work requests/projects, ordering spares for the department, suggesting cost saving measures, expediting deliveries and other tasks being completed by external suppliers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an already successful team, ideally suited to someone with previous experience working in a maintenance engineering department.
Experienced maintenance engineering planner/administrator (beneficial)
