Working within the Compliance team, the main aim of this role is to ensure a safe and secure working environment, preventing any injuries or accidents. This is a key role which will include implementing Covid19 protocols and policies.
Ongoing support to the Compliance, Health and Safety Manager to ensure the office continues to be a Covid19 Secure Environment.
Ensure all staff are supplied with appropriate hygiene kits and managing these stock levels.
Responsible for office booking system.
Assist the H&S Manager in the planning and implementation of the new safety management system for the business, including coordinating any review for existing policies.procedures.
Assist the adherence of all new policy and the enforcement of preventative measures where necessary.
Coordinate all CMT and HSC meetings, including updating trackers and taking minutes as appropriate.
Liaise with HR to ensure all existing and new employees undertake the relevant Covid19 and H&S training.
Arrange/Coordinate any H&S training for the organisation.
Responsible for recording all incident and accidents.
Coordinate all authorised DSE requirements.
Arrange all repairs, installations and any other maintenance that causes risk to employee safety.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
Experience and awareness in Occupational Health and Safety
Experience as an Office Administrator
Working knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Proficiency in MS Office
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills

The role is an initial 6 month FTC, with an immediate start. As well as a competitive pro rata'd salary of £30,000 - £32,000, the successful candidate will be entitled to the organisation's benefits including annual leave (pro rata'd).
