The School of Interdisciplinary invites applications for the position of Lecturer in Education. The post is in the University’s School of Interdisciplinary Studies which is one of five constituent Schools of the College of Social Sciences and is located on the University’s campus in Dumfries.
We are seeking candidates with a strong background and interests in Language and Literacy, professional practice in education and technology. The successful candidate will be GTCS registered.
You will develop, lead and sustain scholarship of international standard and contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by delivering, organising and reviewing agreed teaching, assessment and administration processes associated with the learning and teaching of the undergraduate MA Primary Education with Teaching Qualification and Postgraduate MSc Enhanced Practice in Education programmes.
We welcome applications from candidates with a Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level (PhD) or equivalent in a related discipline and/or teaching experience.
This position is open ended and full time.
