We are looking for a Maintenance Operative that will providee a pro-active and re-active maintenance service as part of a facilities team throughout commercial serviced office centres within close proximity of each other.  Carrying out; routine duties, pre-planned maintenance, repairs and other specific facilities related works requiring both skilled and un-skilled labour.

    • In conjunction with the maintenance team, to implement the planned preventative maintenance program to commercial properties and serviced offices cost effectively.

    • Daily duties to include specific jobs list / repairs, pro-active maintenance, emergency repairs and pre-planned works as part of a larger team.

    • Planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment, monitor and checks.

    • Painting to keep buildings to high standards

    • Responding to all faults. Overseeing repairs or maintenance as reported by staff, and tenants according to their priority.

    • General repair tasks may include some aspects of plumbing, electrics, basic joinery & painting etc.

    • Assisting in the moving, setting up and dismantling of furniture for office moves and within Conference Rooms, Meeting rooms and Events spaces.

    • Deal with minor electrical repairs and fixings, light bulbs, plugs etc

    • Communicate well with clients to resolve work orders.

    • Important routine compliance works will be scheduled and must be carried out on time and in an organised fashion with a good audit trail.

    • Clean up after yourself and leave properties in good order at the end of the day while the work is being done, and after works are completed.

    • You will work on small projects which can include client moves, floor box relocations, refurbishments.

    • You will be required to be contactable at all times during work hours, and may be required to work outside normal working hours.
