We are looking for a Maintenance Operative that will providee a pro-active and re-active maintenance service as part of a facilities team throughout commercial serviced office centres within close proximity of each other. Carrying out; routine duties, pre-planned maintenance, repairs and other specific facilities related works requiring both skilled and un-skilled labour.
In conjunction with the maintenance team, to implement the planned preventative maintenance program to commercial properties and serviced offices cost effectively.
Daily duties to include specific jobs list / repairs, pro-active maintenance, emergency repairs and pre-planned works as part of a larger team.
Planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment, monitor and checks.
Painting to keep buildings to high standards
Responding to all faults. Overseeing repairs or maintenance as reported by staff, and tenants according to their priority.
General repair tasks may include some aspects of plumbing, electrics, basic joinery & painting etc.
Assisting in the moving, setting up and dismantling of furniture for office moves and within Conference Rooms, Meeting rooms and Events spaces.
Deal with minor electrical repairs and fixings, light bulbs, plugs etc
Communicate well with clients to resolve work orders.
Important routine compliance works will be scheduled and must be carried out on time and in an organised fashion with a good audit trail.
Clean up after yourself and leave properties in good order at the end of the day while the work is being done, and after works are completed.
You will work on small projects which can include client moves, floor box relocations, refurbishments.
You will be required to be contactable at all times during work hours, and may be required to work outside normal working hours.
