Primary PPA Teacher Required

The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Ormskirk is on the look-out for a Primary Teacher to join their team covering PPA from Reception, Key Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2 whilst also delivering small group interventions. The Headteacher is keen to appoint for the successful candidate to begin from 7th June and the role will run until July 2022. The role will be 4.5 days per week. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to teach within a high achieving and over-subscribed Primary School where staff are committed to excellence.

To be considered, teachers must hold UK QTS, this role is not suited to an NQT or Early Career Teachers, therefore applicants must have completed their NQT induction to be considered. Ths successful candidate must be an excellent team player and will be required to liaise with the full-time class teachers regarding planning for the PPA sessions.

This school boasts a range of enrichment activities and extra-curricular clubs for pupils and parents are supportive of the school’s community ethos. The Headteacher is looking for a reliable and flexible teacher who is confident to work across EYFS, KS1 and Lower KS2, and can manage a variety of classes highly effectively whilst working to a high standard.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
