We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for a Classroom Assistant to join the EYFS team at a Roman Catholic primary school in Blackburn.
In Early Years, the staff plan and teach in line with the ‘Development Matters in the EYFS’ framework with a creative curriculum. They build on the firm foundations given in Pre-reception, with more emphasis on developing Reading, Writing and mathematical skills, whilst still following the EYFS framework, as well as topic work and child-lead activities to allow the children to gain knowledge and understanding of the world. Throughout the Early Years, the school offer all children other curriculum subjects such as PE, French and Music, which are taken by our specialist teaching staff.
Becoming part of the school community will also require you to continuously strive to create a culture of high standards and improvements in all areas of school life as a member of management and wider professional staff body, and to forge positive professional relationships, conduct oneself in a professional manner and model the aims and ethos of the school to make positive contributions.

The position is term-time only. All candidates must have a Level 2 qualification and be able to work in the UK at the time of applying.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
