Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust manages the countywide Sexual Health Service which incorporates integrated sexual health (traditional Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) & Contraception), HIV, Pregnancy Advisory Service (PAS), Psychosexual medicine service and the Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), all of which are co-located at the Hope House hub.
Gloucestershire SARC supports victims of sexual assault when they need us most, from providing medical care and helping to gather forensic evidence through to linking with sexual health, counselling, advocacy and other specialist support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated SARC Service Manager to lead a team who are passionate about supporting people at times of great vulnerability and trauma. They will work closely with Gloucestershire Constabulary and other partners to ensure a high quality, client centred service is delivered with the aim of reducing the negative impacts of sexual violence and assisting the criminal justice system.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the overall operational day-to-day management of the Gloucestershire SARC service, comprised of crisis workers, counsellors and an administrator, who work together to ensure local and national targets are met, and all individuals accessing the service receive high quality, person-centred care.
