We are looking for individuals who strive to provide the best support possible to our people to enable them to make their own choices and find opportunities to flourish and have fun, and enjoy being part of the community.

This role is based in Romford and you will be supporting 5 male adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge in a residential service.

  • Support Worker Position
  • Full & Part time contracts available.
  • Mixture of shifts including; Early, Late, Nights. (Shifts are on a rota basis so you will know in advance to plan your time accordingly).
  • £18,373 per annum (pro-rata) + Benefits.

  • Current team size is of 8 full time staff members.
  • Current service users enjoy going out into the community regularly, they also enjoy going to dance and drama groups.
  • They also enjoy gardening duties, cleaning tasks and supported cooking activities.
  • All of these which you would need to be happy to take part in.
  • No experience needed but would be beneficial
  • Have energy and enthusiasm to provide the best support possible
  • Have motivation and drive to identify overcome obstacles
  • Have an understanding of and empathy for the people you are supporting

As this role requires providing personal care it will usually be necessary for applicants to have had or agree to have the Covid-19 vaccine
