Scotland's only purpose-built specialist neurological centre, Dee View Court, Aberdeen has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader within our supported living facility 'House 7'.

We are looking for a Team Leader with proven leadership ability and a strong background within healthcare, preferable experience in Neurological care who is dedicated to developing the team to their full potential.

Dee View Court has gone through some really exciting developments and has increased its 22 single bedrooms for residential care and one supported living apartment
to 36 bedrooms and seven supported living apartments, almost doubling our capacity and allowing us to care for a total of 44 people at any one time.

As our Team Lead for Supported Living you will:

•Manage the day to day provision of the service and responsible for ensuring that the service meets the Regulatory Body Standards and Health and Safety requirements
•Manage to service effectively to enable residents with disabilities are able to live in ordinary housing and to achieve as independent a lifestyle as possible.
•Lead and manage the team to ensure the delivery of service meets the requirements of regulatory body standards and associated standards, commissioners and any other statutory bodies.
•Monitor and drive the Quality Governance agenda through the development of a local Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and process that meets both internal and external guidance
•Ensure effective performance management of all supported living staff in line with Sue Ryder policies and procedures for recruitment, induction, development, supervision, appraisal and discipline.
•Ensure there is a system of training needs analysis, linked with appraisal which directs and influences the training plan

To be successful as a Team Lead Supported Living you will be an enthusiastic and motivated person who is committed to helping people reach their full potential.

You will have experience of caring for people in a similar environment and preferably have an SVQ level 4 or be willing to undertake this. A robust induction and full training around each residents care needs will be provided.
