Your role as a Technical Business Analyst will be to support the architecture lifecycle for a new Data Integration Services Platform. This includes discovering needs, analysing requirements, supporting design pattern development and coordinating implementation for Data Services.
Our agile teams are focussed on delivering value to our stakeholders and we use a variety of agile practices including Scrum and Kanban. In this role you will be part of a team of developers moving our organization forward to greater data use, integration, and access through these data services for a large data program.
Whilst the role will be mainly Data Analytics driven, we are looking for someone who has a desire to develop T-Shaped Skills to also support some development and test where required.
In addition, you will contribute to the Analyst community, embrace change and share knowledge with a network of stakeholders.
Perform research, execute proofs of concepts, and initialize projects for data integration and enablement
Facilitate sessions for business process modelling and capturing process/data flows
Understand, capture, and document of business processes and associated data requirements prior-to and during data integration activities
Work closely with business units to understand their data, their use cases and user acceptance of the data services developed
Plan and create recommendations for data integrations with business systems while aligning with the technology and enterprise architecture roadmap
Collaborate with developers to map and capture data in integration processes
Work in agile project team with a matrixed delivery organization
Skills & Experience
Proven ability to successfully gather requirements and get results with some guidance.
Experience liaising with stakeholders to elicit requirements, use of system design concepts, propose solutions and translate these for other members of the development team.
Proven ability to collect and analyse data and present results in accessible formats.
Experience of Agile software development – working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, encouraging the adoption and continuous improvement of practices.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
Experience working with 3rd Party products, vendors and implementation partners.
A degree in Computing, Business, Information Systems or equivalent is desirable.
Collaborates and communicates well, builds great working relationships, influences others, challenges effectively and responds well to challenge from others, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.
Has a strong work ethic and is able to deal with sometimes conflicting priorities.
Able to give advice, mentor and pass on knowledge.

SQL Databases, Data Management, Data Governance (lineage, validation, quality, stewardship) Required
ETL/ELT, Data pipelines, , Data Modeling (3NF, Kimball) desirable
SSRS, SSIS, SSAS desirable
Master Data Management and integration practices desirable
Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Power BI, Migration Experience desirable
