Experience in working alongside children in a Primary setting and have the confidence to talk about how you work in the classroom and the progress your children have made, particularly with the development of Reading and Writing.
Have at least two education based references from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a GOOD one-form entry Primary School in the centre of Colne (BB8) who are looking to source a dedicated and enthusiastic Y3 Teacher to take up a full-time teaching role from September 2021. This is a full-time role and the successful applicant will be expected to take on the full responsibilities of the Teacher, this will include leading a subject in school and partaking in parents evening. The school is graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted, with high standards across the board.
The class is made up of 28 pupils; there are two children with Autism who have a 1:1 Specialist Teaching Assistant, there is also another experienced general TA in the class. The head teacher describes the class as ‘lovely & lively’. She stated the behaviour and attainment in class is good, with children making good progress. The Head teacher has expressed, the school are not looking for a ‘supply teacher’, but a practitioner who will contribute to all aspects of school life who will form good working relationships with the school staff. A proven track record raising attainment in KS2 is essential.
The head has stated he would like CV’s from interested applicants sending over by the end of May half-term (June 6th). The head will then invite suitable for teachers for an ‘informal chat/observation to the back end of January. This role will be long term and is expected to last the full academic year, with the opportunity to go permeant for the right member of staff. The pay will range from £125 - £165 per day and will be paid through Teaching Personnel on a weekly basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
